About the role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and work full-time with a Year 3 class, supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role requires a patient and understanding individual who can provide both academic and emotional support to help our students thrive.

Application Requirements: 

• Relevant experience working with children with SEN, particularly SEMH needs. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
• Commitment to the welfare and development of students. 
• A positive and proactive approach to challenges. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Supporting the learning and development of students with SEMH needs in a Year 3 class. 
• Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. 
• Developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs). 
• Providing one-on-one support and small group interventions.
