Daily pay: £83 - £90 (term time only)

Job type: Contract full time (Monday - Friday)

Your local Cheltenham Primary school on your doorsteps, based in Charlton Kings is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant. You will support the KS1/KS2 students. The successful candidate will provide a positive learning environment, split between Years 2 & 3.

Qualifications:

• Hold a bachelor's degree (2:2 or above).
• Experience working with KS1/KS2 children or in an educational setting (bonus!)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with KS1/KS2 students.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

• Provide additional educational support in small groups and 1:1 for SEN students.
• To assist with the general pastoral care of KS1/KS2 Cheltenham students.
• Promote positive values, attitudes, and good pupil behaviour.
• Actively encourage the inclusion of all students to participate in the life and activities of the Cheltenham Primary school.
• Support the KS1/KS2 teacher with monitoring progress.
• Assisting in the planning and learning activities.
• Support pupils with their educational and social development by modelling positive behaviour and demonstrating high expectations.
