Technical Estimator / Shepperton / £300 a day (Negotiable DOE)
A leading mechanical contractor based in Shepperton is seeking a Technical Estimator.
This role offers long-term ongoing work, starting Monday 15th July.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working out of their office, based in Shepperton
- Starting Monday 15th July, with long-term ongoing work available
- Working 8:30 am-5 pm, on a competitive day rate of £300 (Negotiable DOE)
- Send enquiries to manufacturers and sub-contractors via emails and/or obtain quotations via email or telephone
- Keep enquiries' status updated within the tender review document (value, dates, contact point, etc)
- Print and/or send for printing the tender drawings and other tender documents
- File and organise the above documents
Requirements:
- Proven experience in producing accurate and detailed cost proposals
- Strong technical knowledge of water chillers and experience in the FM Hard Services sector
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ideal candidates will have transitioned from hands-on roles to estimation
- Ability to understand BOQ's and drawings for take-off
