About Us: A lovely High Wycombe based Nursery is a nurturing and vibrant early years setting dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for the youngest learners. The ethos centers on creating a stimulating, safe, and supportive environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Nursery Teacher to join the dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports each child's development and well-being.
  • Observe, assess, and record each child's progress, sharing insights with parents/carers and colleagues.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Implement strategies to support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Maintain a safe and clean learning environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) in the UK.
  • Experience working with children in an early years setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young minds.

Desirable:

  • Experience with specific early years educational programs or approaches.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies.
