Position: Facilities Manager
Location: Nottingham
Hours: Monday-Friday, office hours
Salary: £27k-£30k

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our physical work environment. You will manage daily facilities activities, coordinate with vendors, and ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace for all employees.

This is a diverse and flexible role with a range of responsibilities. We are looking for a motivated individual who will be involved in the long-term planning of the site. The successful candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, experience in managing and prioritising a busy workload, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities department, including maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services.
• Carry out regular checks and inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address any issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with onsite clients.
• Process invoices related to facility management.
• Ensure Health and Safety compliance across the building, including health and safety policies, fire strategy, and risk assessments.
• Maintain the highest standards of office housekeeping and cleanliness, working closely with cleaning vendors, monitoring their work, and ordering cleaning supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, and facility-related documentation.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
