As in-house recruiters for Lambsons Building Products and Laminated Products based in Castleford, West Yorkshire, we have a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and progressive individual to join the production team working from their Castleford site as a Solid Surface Fabricator.
As an experienced Solid Surface Fabricator, you will undergo in house training to increase your skills and knowledge to competently process customer’s orders through our factory.

As an experienced Solid Surface Fabricator, you will undergo in house training to increase your skills and knowledge to competently process customer’s orders through our factory.
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday 06:00am – 17:30pm (44 hours per week)
- £32’000 - £37’000 (depending on experience)
- Overtime if needed on Fridays.
- Daily 60-minute breaks.
- 20 days of annual holiday.
- Uniform and PPE provided.
- To produce goods that meet specification and quality standards.
- Ensure paperwork is completed correctly throughout processing.
- To communicate effectively with other operators to ensure production targets are met.
- To identify quality issues and defects to prevent further defective products being produced.
- To comply with the company quality standards.
- To comply with the company Health and Safety Policy.
- Previous solid surface experience is essential.
- Organised and planned approach to work.
- Good eye for detail.
- Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can work as part of a team or independently.
- Ability to work accurately to a planned schedule.
- Possess the ability to work from CAD drawings.
- Experience of using handheld power tools and air sanders.
- 2 years + experience as a Solid Surface Fabricator is preferred
- Thermoforming experience is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
