• £44,657 salary
• Monday-Friday role - 3 shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, nights)

Person Requirements for the Approved Mechanical Fitter:

• Must be able to provide evidence of completion of a 4-year time-served apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or similar discipline
• Must have experience working with engines and hydraulics

Job Requirements for the Approved Mechanical Fitter:
Working as the Approved Mechanical Fitter, you will ideally have experience of maintaining industrial heavy plant machinery and ancillary equipment from a mechanical perspective.

• Work in partnership with the Engineering Manager to carry out reactive repairs to site machinery
• Responding to breakdowns and working to PPM’s.
• Troubleshooting & practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
