You will be working in a heavy engineering environment working on heavy plant machinery and other ancillary equipment.

- £44,657 salary
- Monday-Friday role - 3 shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, nights)
- Up to 30 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Person Requirements for the Approved Mechanical Fitter:
- Must be able to provide evidence of completion of a 4-year time-served apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or similar discipline
- Must have experience working with engines and hydraulics
Job Requirements for the Approved Mechanical Fitter:
Working as the Approved Mechanical Fitter, you will ideally have experience of maintaining industrial heavy plant machinery and ancillary equipment from a mechanical perspective.
- Work in partnership with the Engineering Manager to carry out reactive repairs to site machinery
- Responding to breakdowns and working to PPM’s.
- Troubleshooting & practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
- Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
- Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
