Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Upholstery Expert to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing upholstery solutions. You will bring to life the creative visions of others, solving the real challenges of manufacturing products that adhere to design intent while being repeatable, efficient, robust, and profitable.

You will oversee the delivery of upholstery prototypes and contribute to all projects in development. Your role will include pattern creation with defined sewing details, managing pattern files, and contributing to continuous product improvements alongside operations and design team members. Additionally, you will train others, sharing techniques and processes relevant to the manufacture of our client’s products, enhancing profitability, reliability, and efficiency.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop 2D & 3D concept models

- Physical pattern development

- 3D pattern development

- Pattern digitization and specification

- Material and pattern optimization

- Cut & sew specification

- Manage the upholstery process

Experience:

- Upholstery: 2 years (required)
