We are currently seeking a dynamic and inspirational Assistant Headteacher to join the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop and implement the school's strategic vision and improvement plan.
  • Lead on key areas of school development, including curriculum planning, assessment, and staff professional development.
  • Support and mentor teachers, providing guidance and feedback to enhance teaching practices and improve pupil outcomes.
  • Oversee the pastoral care and well-being of pupils, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor and analyse pupil progress and attainment data to inform school improvement strategies.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and the wider community to foster strong partnerships and promote the school's ethos and values.
  • Deputise for the Headteacher as required, ensuring the smooth running of the school in their absence.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Substantial experience in a leadership role within a primary school setting.
  • Proven track record of improving teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils.
  • Excellent organisational and strategic planning abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Desirable:

  • Further qualifications in educational leadership (e.g., NPQH, NPQSL).
  • Experience with school improvement initiatives and Ofsted inspections.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
