We are looking for an energetic and creative Community Manager to be part of a launch team for a brand-new product. This is a rare opportunity to be at the heart of something new and exciting where you will be creating content that resonates with their audience and fosters a sense of community among fans. If you love sports and have a knack for creating vibrant online communities, this could be your dream job.

This product is the brainchild of one of the world’s leading sports influencer’s and backed by a successful media group, so there is already a significant audience to tap into and build out from. Although holding an interest in sport is not essential any Golf enthusiasts may find the role of particular interest. This is mainly remote role with a need to meet with the team at their iconic central London offices up to four times a month.

Working closely with the Marketing and Commercial Leads you will take the day-to-day lead for the build and implementation of the social strategy for the new app, with a focus on all social media channels creating engaging content, community management and user engagement.

Guided by your research skills you will build relationships with sports associations and clubs to drive up user engagement and explore new audiences. You will onboard new users, ensuring they continue to be informed and engaged, through activities and reward programs. as well as organising and promoting online and offline tournaments and events, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution.  You will analyse social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, using insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.

 The ideal candidate will have.

  • Proven experience in social media management and community engagement,
  • In-depth knowledge of Meta, X, YouTube, TikTok, Google, in addition to emerging platforms.
  • A real interest in sports including Golf.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools i.e. Mailchimp, Semrush, Ahrefs, Canva, Google Analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination.

Depending on experience the salary is paying a range between £35,000 to £42,000 plus 25 days holiday + 3 personal days and remote working.
