Care Support Worker

We are a small well established care home offering a great opportunity to a caring and professional individual to work in the care sector. We provide full training, professional development and the chance to join a friendly and supportive team.

We care for our staff just as we care for our clients. All you need to offer is a kind heart, commitment to supporting people with learning disabilities people and professionalism. We will provide you all of the knowledge and training to perform your role to a high standard. It is helpful if you are a driver, but is not a necessity.

Hours are flexible around your situation, so you can choose what shifts you are able to work. They are 9am-5pm, 5 pm -9pm. We run a 7 day a week.

Your Responsibilities:

Your job description is to support clients in a learning disability setting including household duties, social activities, doctors, dental and hospital appointments.

Your Expectations:

• You will need to complete a police reference check (DBS) we will require payment for this on application.
• You will need good numeracy & literacy skills.
• We require 3 references and a full employment history including times out of work for example: childcare.

Work alone shifts. Sleeping night shifts. Pension scheme available.
