Working for a large manufacturer who have sites across Norfolk and Lincolnshire, we have a new opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Your new role
You will be joining an experienced maintenance team, supporting the site production teams with all aspects of plant maintenance and repair, to ensure the effective and efficient operation of site production and intake systems, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.
You will be expected to proactively carry out all aspects of maintenance to a planned schedule, seeking solutions where abnormalities occur. This will require liaising with production teams addressing any breakdowns and dealing promptly with any issues, escalating where necessary. As with all manufacturing facilities, there is a real focus on driving continuous improvement, reviewing current methodology and opportunities to improve efficiency, as well as quality.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience gained in a manufacturing environment, with a good mix of mechanical and electrical ability with a minimum electrical level of 18th edition, ideally having completed and engineering apprenticeship or hold similar City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications.
What you'll get in return
Working on a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights shift pattern, (average 42 hours per week) you will receive a starting salary of £50,365.00. Any additional overtime is paid at 1.5 times the rate.
