The Role:

You will be responsible for managing import & export sea freight shipments from start to finish. In this role you will report directly to the UK General Manager who will be locally on hand & you’ll have his full support in establishing the branch.

You must be able to manage ocean shipments from origin to final destination, including completing Customs clearances.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous import & export forwarding experience
• Be able to work on your own
• Customs clearance experience

About the Company:

Our client is a well-established freight forwarder who is part of a global group, so has economy of scale combined with a SME, family feel without the feel of being part of a large corporate.

Salary & Benefits:

Our client is looking to pay between £32K & 36K for the right candidate, depending on experience, but as you grow the branch, this will of course dramatically increase.
