CRE are currently looking for

Site Manager role to oversee individual schemes responsible for managing day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, as well as a thorough understanding of construction processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of groundworks and construction projects from inception to completion, including programme management, supporting the development of short / long term programmes, scheduling, resource allocation, weekly reporting, and budget management.

Health and Safety: Compliance with the HSEQ management system to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors. Provide feedback on safer ways of working to the HSEQ Manager. Ensure all incidents, no matter how minor are reported to the HSEQ Manager within two hours of occurrence.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise on-site teams, including subcontractors, to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, identify any issues or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, attend progress meetings and provide updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Resource Management: Manage on-site resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimise productivity and minimise cost.

Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, and obtain necessary permits and approvals as required.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and as-built drawings.

Head Office Communication: Ensure regular communication with Head Office and ensure daily progress photos are provided.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in the groundworks and construction industry.

SMSTS / Managers CSCS card

Temporary Works Supervisor (desirable)

Appointed Person (desirable)

Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.

Relevant certifications and qualifications in construction management, health and safety, or related fields are preferred.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
