Site Manager - Water
My client, a Civil Engineering contractor are currently looking to recruit an experienced Civils Site Manager to join their team on a long-term freelance basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the region’s leading contractors.
Project value circa £7M (set to rise with the release of further phases of work)
Sector – Water
Scope of works – Roads, RC Structures, Drainage, Pipework,
Position – Civils Site Manager
Location – Doncaster
Duration – 10 Months+
Engagement - CIS Umbrella
Duties
- Reporting to a resident Project Manager
- Site inductions & toolbox talks
- Writing & updating daily records & RAMS
- Liaise with client and any consultants engaged in the project
- Managing health & safety on site
- Ordering plant & materials for site
- Supervise and monitor the progress and quality of work produced by site labour force and sub-contractors
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Introduce improvements and innovation where possible.
Your profile
- 3 years+ experience managing Civil Infrastructure projects
- Prior experience delivering schemes for Yorkshire Water is advantageous
- Formal qualification preferred – e.g. HND in construction related discipline ideal
- SMSTS
