Job Description:
 
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy / AGM to lead our client's team and oversee the daily operations of their hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Operational Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the establishment, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Implement and maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage operational budgets, including labor, supplies, and other controllable expenses.
  • Develop and execute operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and profitability.
Staff Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff members to deliver exceptional service.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and employment regulations.
Guest Relations:
  • Maintain a strong presence in the establishment to interact with guests and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reviews, using insights to make continuous improvements.
Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to ensure cost control and minimize waste.
Marketing and Sales:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities and events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and the community to drive business growth.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and service improvement.
Strategic Planning:
  • Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies and goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure the establishment remains competitive.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the establishment’s reputation and market presence.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of hospitality operations, including food and beverage, housekeeping, front desk, and guest services.
  • Attitude: Proactive, customer-focused, and results-oriented with a passion for hospitality and excellence.
