Role Title
CNC lathe setter operator
Function
Manufacturing aircraft components and assemblies.
Location
Musselburgh.
Vacancy description
The position involves the setting and programming of our centre lathes. Both our CTX and OKUMA lathes have FANUC controls.
The successful individual will work closely within the CNC turning department to manufacture components for the Aviation Industry.
Main responsibilities
Safely set and operate CNC lathes.
Capable of working to close tolerances in a variety of Aerospace grade materials and in line with customer drawings and specifications.
The individual will be expected to work on a two-shift pattern.
Minimum candidaterequirements and Skills required
Candidates should be enthusiastic team members with experience and an aptitude for mechanical engineering.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to use your own initiative and a strong drive to succeed are all essential.
Training
Training will be provided to help you become acquainted with the role and eventually work independently.
