Our client is a leading innovator in the engineering sector, committed to developing cutting-edge electronic solutions. Our team of experts is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology to create high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations. We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Electronics Engineer to join our team and lead our electronics design efforts.

Principal Electronics Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of advanced electronic systems, focusing on PCB design and analogue circuits.
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept through to production.
  • Develop detailed schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard software.
  • Perform simulations and analyses to ensure optimal performance and reliability of designs.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and test engineers to integrate electronic designs into products.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electronics issues during development and testing phases.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electronics engineering and incorporate new technologies as appropriate.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.

Princiapal Electronics Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Principal Electronics Engineer or in a similar senior role.
  • Strong expertise in PCB design and analogue circuit design.
  • Proficient in using PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or equivalent.
  • Excellent understanding of electronic components and their applications.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Relevant certifications or memberships in professional engineering bodies are a plus.
