For 40 years, our Electronic Warfare Operations Support (EWOS) Group has delivered expert software, services and training to the UK and nations abroad. We provide services that can’t be found anywhere else, and we’re relied upon to support truly leading-edge programmes that direct the future of CEMA and the wider EW infrastructure for the UK and its allies.

Our division is made up of motivated specialists from a range of backgrounds; project managers, solution architects, system engineers, scientists and ex-military personnel, who combine their expertise to help our customers achieve their true operational potential, and ultimately help keep their people and platforms safe.

As a strong people leader with teams across the UK and internationally, you’ll travel to customer sites and regularly work onsite at our Lincoln office.  Some teams work solely onsite in secure environments and your presence will be a key part of keeping them motivated and inspired. However, we do offer flexible working and supportive policies.

How you’ll support us

As we develop the technological solutions for our client proposals, you'll play a crucial role as a thought leader. This will mean taking a concept from detailed analysis of technical requirements, defining work breakdown structures, methods of production and respective resources, to ongoing support throughout deployment and project support to assist these design tasks. To assist these responsibilities, you will make use of your Model Based Systems Engineering (UML/SysML/Archimate) expertise.

The invaluable experience you’ll bring, to help us achieve more

In addition to being essential to the leadership and growth of a highly intelligent group of mixed-experience engineers, you’ll also have plenty of opportunity to be hands-on with innovation, research, and systems development, as well as support our various projects and bid exercises.

Essential experience

  • Systems Engineering
  • Test and acceptance of integrated systems
  • Experience across the Engineering Delivery Lifecycle
  • Defence Industry knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems
  • Requirements Management (DOORS/Enterprise Architect etc.)
  • System Design Documentation
  • Leadership in teams and complex projects

Desirable experience

  • Systems Modelling (UML/SysML)
  • Coding experience (JavaScript or MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Previous ex-Military experience with EW systems (operator, maintenance, support, or acquisition).

Our non-negotiables:

Due to the highly secure nature of the projects that you will be involved with, you must be:

  • A UK National and eligible to work in the UK
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government DV-level security clearance
