We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join the dynamic team from September 2024. The successful candidate will have a deep love for literature and language, and a commitment to fostering a love of reading and writing in students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that cater to a diverse range of abilities, helping students to achieve their full potential. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress 

• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation 

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies 

• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events 

Requirements: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent 

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities 

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
