Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Central London - Up to £60k

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a global building services design consultancy in Central London.

As a leading international design consultancy, they specialise in delivering high-quality commercial fit out projects across multiple sectors.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer and experience with both CAT A and CAT B fit outs. They will be responsible for leading electrical services design projects, managing project teams, and liaising with clients and contractors.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading electrical design projects from inception to completion ensuring design quality, budget compliance and project delivery milestones are met.
• Preparing electrical specifications and drawings, ensuring all designs0 meet and exceed industry standards and regulations.
• Preparing and managing project budgets and schedules, monitoring project progress, and reporting.
• Coordinating with other design disciplines and stakeholders to ensure all design requirements are met.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Essential skills and experience:

• Minimum of 8 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in commercial fit outs.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems design and installation including up-to-date knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
• Proficient in electrical design software and experience in AutoCAD, Revit, IES, and TAS.
• Ability to lead and manage project teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
