Support Worker

Fun loving male requires support within private home, based in Ilford.

Experienced, male/female Support Worker required to assist adult with complex needs, with all aspects of the young man’s daily routine. 

• The client has a real enjoyment of visiting various places of interest, mostly by car and occasionally by train.
• Whilst at home, he has an interest in doing various activies,I.e puzzles, colouring and requires assistance at mealtimes and with personal care. 
• With restrictive mobilty, he requires wheelchair assistance, for getting around, and about outdoors.

A motivated person, with good communication skills is essential, you should also be active, having had a previous background from working within a private home environment.

Previous experience, specifically supporting those with learning disabilities/autistic spectrum is essential.

Shadowing/training will be provided.

Part time; 2/3 days p.wk 

11.30pm - 7.30 p.m with some weekends /and if available to help with cover for other personal assistants. 

Starting rate; £11.50 p.hr,increment following probationary period.

Self employed considered, hourly rate on application. Must have had mandatory training have a UTR.

Checkable references, DBS, proof of right to work in UK will also be required.
