Our client, a reputable Engineering & Technology firm with over 40 years of industry expertise, is actively searching for a CNC Miller to join their skilled manufacturing team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in setting up and operating various CNC milling machines, including those with up to 5 axes, to produce top-quality precision machined components.

Job Responsibilities for the CNC Miller

• Crafting precision components from diverse raw materials to meet the precise specifications outlined in engineering drawings
• Ensuring the manufactured components adhere to strict quality standards using appropriate measuring equipment and conform to the individual component inspection schedule
• Setting up and running CNC milling machines equipped with Haas/Fanuc or Siemens-based controls
• Adhering to the company's Quality Management and Health and Safety protocols
• Delivering quality output within set timelines

Person Specification

• Mechanical engineering apprenticeship
• Prior experience in a precision engineering environment is essential
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and utilizing various measurement equipment
• Proven experience as a CNC Miller, preferably with expertise in 5-axis machining and machining castings
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits

• Up to £40,000
• Monday to Thursday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Fridays – 8:00am to 2:00pm
• 32 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
