Principal Consultant (Datacentre Migration)

• Base Salary: Up to £87,500
• Company Package: Bonus + Excellent Company Benefits + Pension
• Hybrid Model: Remote, UK only (meetings may be requested in Central London, ad-hoc)

About the Role & Client:

My client, a leading UK based IT Services & Consulting organisation, seek a highly experienced Principal Consultant in their highly respected technical transformation team.

The Principal Consultant will act in both a Technical Authority and Team Lead capacity, and expected to provide leadership & direction of team activity, and apply their own outstanding technical input throughout large projects.

The candidate must have outstanding technical knowledge of a wide range of technologies, especially Datacentre Migration, Cloud (Azure) & Infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading technical project team: providing direction, delegation of key activities and deliverables
• Act as SME for Datacentre Migrations
• Technical consultation throughout large scale projects (Datacentre, Cloud, Network)
• Technical design authority & Architecture
• Advising technical teams and stakeholders to define solutions (migration/transformation strategies, roadmaps)

Candidate experience:

• Subject Matter Expert of Datacentre Migrations (Discovery tooling/Migration strategy)
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong history with On-Prem Infrastructure
• Excellent knowledge of Cloud Technology (e.g. Azure / AWS)
• Strong architecture & design experience
• Previous experience leading teams for major projects
• Experience working in large consultancies (highly desirable)
• Strong knowledge of lifecycle projects (Datacentre, Cloud, Network)
