Our client, a growing Insurance company, is looking to expand their team by bringing on board an experienced Commercial Account Handler.  You will be working in a well-established organisation where you will get the chance to build upon this new department and division and have the chance to grow in the organisation as it develops.  The client base is varied and will include commercial organisations in and around the area both new and old so if you enjoy working with a diverse client base that allows you to have the autonomy to be creative and build up a good rapport with clients so that you can add real value to their business then this role could be a good potential fit for you.


As the Commercial Account Handler you will be:

• Responding to the client broker, and underwriter inquiries via phone and email
• Conducting “fact-finding” to identify clients’ requirements and provide quotations for both new and existing clients
• Maintaining records of clients’ risk awareness, circumstances, and objectives
• Determining competitive rates from insurers based on gathered information.
• Obtaining and communicating quotations, advising on the most suitable options.
• Assisting with mid-term adjustments, claims, and renewals.
• Managing the departmental diary system and producing renewal documentation.

As the Commercial Account Handler, you will have:

• Experience working in the commercial lines insurance sector
• Outstanding communication skills written and verbal
• Excellent organisational skills
