Location: Central Derby
Salary: £30,000pa, depending on experience with excellent company benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, office based

An amazing opportunity for an experience Bookkeeper with payroll to join an established family run business, based in central Derby, initially temp- perm.
This is a pivotal role and as the Bookkeeper you will be responsible for most of the finance functions within the business
The main duties of the Bookkeeper will be to:
- Preparing and processing monthly payroll
- Inputting starters and leavers
- Manual calculations i.e. P45, P60, P38, maternity/ paternity leave, student loans etc.
- Processing invoices and expenses
- HMRC
- Reconciling bank statements
- Posting journals
- Profit & loss
- VAT returns
- Forecasting, cashflow and budgets
- Financial reporting
- Dealing with customers’ queries
- Administration duties
Essential skills:
- Experienced Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant with payroll
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communicator
- Working knowledge of Sage Software would be an advantage
