Our client based in Redditch is currently recruiting for a Temporary Production Planner to join the team ASAP.
As a Production Planner your responsibility will be to develop and implement production and material plans to ensure timely and efficient achievement of manufacturing and delivery goals.
You will work closely with the production team, suppliers, and other departments to optimise production schedules, manage inventory levels, and minimize lead times.
Production Planner Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components Monitor inventory levels and recommend strategies for inventory optimisation
Work closely with the production team to prioritise production schedules and resolve any production issues
Continuously monitor and analyse production data to identify opportunities for improvement Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align production plans with customer demand
Experience Required
Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field
Experience in production planning, material planning
Experience with ERP systems and planning tools
Advanced Excel Skills
