We are thrilled to be exclusively recruiting for our long-standing client, a leader in the pet industry, who is experiencing an exciting period of growth. Known for their high-quality products under their own brands and private labels, our client seeks a dynamic and driven National Account Manager to join their incredible team.

As the National Account Manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape and grow within this role. You will play a part in cultivating and strengthening relationships with retail and wholesale partners, driving sales.

This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of £50k+, car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and some incredible benefits too! We’d love to see CVs from candidates who:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years in a National Account Manager or Sales Management role within the pet industry.
  • Have a proven track record in successful sales and account management within the consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Possess strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Have an analytical mindset, leveraging data and insights for informed decision-making.

As the National Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts, expanding product listings, and enhancing visibility.
  • Conducting market analysis to understand trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in retail and wholesale.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives.
