Higher Level Teaching Assistant

£95 - £100 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

We are working with a thriving and welcoming, Ofsted rated ‘Good’, primary school located in the Seaforth area, who are committed to providing high-quality education and a nurturing environment for their students.  They are seeking an outstanding and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team to support across Key Stages 1 and 2 on a full-time basis from September.

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the school, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting the pupils' learning and development.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the HLTA qualification or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain invaluable experience across both KS1 and KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the teaching and learning process, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist in the assessment and recording of pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and other support staff to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
• Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities.
• Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, as required.

Requirements:

The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;

• HLTA qualification or status, or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain experience.
• Proven experience working in a primary school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting high standards of achievement.
• Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
