Our client is looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their independent consultancy that specialises in environmental noise and building acoustics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects including quarry and minerals sites, road and rail projects, sport and leisure, residential and mixed-use developments.

Graduate Acoustic Consultant Requirements:

  • Relevant Acoustics degree or similar
  • Full UK driving license
  • Computer Literate E.g. Excel & Microsoft Package
  • Knowledge of an acoustic computer modelling (Desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Member of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) (Desirable)

Graduate Acoustic Consultant Duties:

  • Noise modelling work using software including CadnaA & ODEON
  • Noise assessment and surveys
  • Sound Insulation Testing
  • Prepare and complete technical reports
  • Liaise with clients regarding project requirements
  • Site visits
