Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor, ideally from a civil engineering / utilities background to join a successful local contractor covering sites across Cornwall. You will join an experienced commercial team, reporting to a Commercial Director, financially managing a number of sites, ensuring cost are monitored and adhered to.

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking team of like-minded professionals.

The role:

• The role will involve the procurement of sub-contractors, tender enquiries as well as assisting with ongoing estimating duties.
• Commercial/financial management, valuations, reconciliations, and final accounts.
• You will be required to report to the head office and travel to the site.

What you need:

• Qualified with a suitable construction-related qualification or through experience
• Have similar experience at quantity surveyor level managing a number of projects
• A full driving license will be required,
• Proficient IT skills in particular Excel.
