Are you an experienced Management Accountant who has an interest in mentoring and developing a small finance team?

The Company

Seymour John have been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Management Accountant in a newly created role for an owner managed business.  This business has been established for 20 years and is led by an entrepreneurial leader whose culture offers an amazing working environment.

The Opportunity

Working in a diverse role reporting to supporting the Financial Controller to produce the monthly management accounts, where your duties will include:

• Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents

• Measuring the company’s financial performance based on financial records

• Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management

• Supervising, developing and mentoring the internal accounting team

• Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements

• Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers

• Prepare monthly forecasts

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Personal Profile

We are keen to speak to experienced management accountants who have proven experience of mentoring and developing a team effectively.  This is a varied role supporting the Financial Controller with all aspects of management accounting.  You will need a decent understanding of excel – vlookups/pivots.  In return our client offers a fantastic working environment and the opportunity to development your career further in a friendly, hardworking and growing business.

Hours

9.00am-5.00pm 37.5 hours per week – fully office based
