Company description:

We are working with an established company in the Industrial manufacturing sector who specialise in manufacturing chemical products. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team and are offering between circa £42,000.

Duties and responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer:

• Planned preventative maintenance
• Maintain conveyor systems and all plant machinery
• Attending to reactive breakdowns
• Get machines back up and running in a timely manner
• Liaise with suppliers to get parts in to complete breakdown repairs
• Quality checks to understand the reasons for machine breakdowns

Skills and experience required as a Maintenance Engineer:

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical repairs for plant machinery
• Performed maintenance on high-speed machinery
• Mechanical or Electrical qualification - NVQ, HNC, ONC, City & Guilds or Apprenticeship trained
