Job Outline:

My client, who is a leader in the world of Electronic Test & Measurement, now seeks a PhD Qualified  Electronic Design Engineer to join their growing team.

Based within commuting distance of my client’s facility close to Nottingham and reporting directly to the Managing (Technical) Director, you will have varied responsibilities, including new product development.

This will comprise elements of analogue circuit design, rf theory, control theory, filter design and power electronics. A good understating of magnetics would also be an advantage.

The role is fundamental to realising some of my clients existing ideas as well as developing new, and future products.

It is expected that the successful candidate should possess a diverse skill set and be a proactive problem solver to take advantage of the wide variety of interesting opportunities.

As well as simulation using tools such as MATLAB and SIMULINK the candidate will have an aptitude for practical implementation of electronics, from printed circuit layout to mechanical engineering skills such as CAD design.

Qualifications:

It is expected that you will have a PhD or Masters, in Electronic Engineering or similar.
