Air Personnel are looking for a MRO System Specialist to work for a fantastic client in Bournemouth

We are currently recruiting for an MRO System Specialist who will develop a deep understanding of our MRO ERP system Corridor.aero. You will govern the use of the system in line with Procedures across all elements of the MRO, ensuring consistent configuration and usage across all MRO locations. Preparing and provide training across the group to induct new employees and ensure existing employees receive continuation training along with guidance on new features, configurations and updates.

Travel to our other sites as required, you will be given a car allowance for this.

Responsibilities of the MRO System Specialist:

  • Support the use and best practice of Corridor across the MRO, including non-UK geographies.
  • Ensure that the MRO system is being utilised appropriately and in line with policy.
  • Manage the Governance and oversight of adherence to procedures and best practice across the MRO Corridor Databases (UK, ME, Bond), and support alignment activities where discrepancies are identified
  • Configuration management of Corridor to support internal and regulatory requirements
  • Configure new starters for shift/warehouse access, overall permissions, signatures and approvals.
  • Point of contact for Corridor errors and issues. Interface support and guidance to employees.
  • Continually develop engineering training content by employee role for Corridor interaction and adherence to published regulatory procedures.
  • Induction and training for new employees on Corridor, tailoring to their role and ensuring they are equipped with enough of the right knowledge to perform their job.
  • Ensure engineer refresher training is relevant by reviewing compliance audit findings against processes to reduce repeat findings.
  • Regular visits to base and major line stations to provide continuous support and ensure accurate use of the system in line with procedures and best practice
  • As required, support to set-up of new locations, teams new to Corridor through remote and on-site training and guidance.
  • Influencing key stakeholders and users to ensure business implications and interdependencies of MRO system use are widely understood.
  • Drive continued automation of processes, and use of electronic work packs throughout the Engineering Service Line.


Skills, Qualifications and Experience required to be a MRO System Specialist :

Essential

  • Previous experience working in an MRO environment and have extensive experience of MRO software within a Part 145 regulatory environment through direct use.
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of the underlying processes the system supports as well as the functions within the system to ensure robust and efficient tracking of the processes.
  • Ability to quickly come up to speed with the processes and functionality of that system.


Advantageous

  • Prior experience with Corridor.aero would be ideal it is not essential
