Polytec are looking for a Distribution Team Leader for our client based in Ely.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure all team members work in line with PPE requirements and safe systems of work
* Lead daily meetings
* Motivate team members and perform quarterly appraisals or 1-to-1 meetings
* Assist with hiring and training new starters
* Implement standard work for Packing and Shipping processes, conducting regular audits
* Create SOPs and workflows for packing and Shipping tasks
Requirements:
* Ideally you will have previous team leader experience
* Experience in a Stores/Material Handling role
* A positive, flexible approach
* Good attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to train, mentor and present new ideas
* Computer literate and able to use ERP systems effectively
