Hours: 2 days 8am until 4:30pm, 2 days 9:30am until 6pm (to be agreed) Monday to Thursday and 8am until 4:30pm on a Friday

Polytec are looking for an Inventory Controller to ensure a continuous flow environment meeting output and delivery targets for our client based in Ely.
Responsibilities:
* Support a continuous flow of materials from Stores through Production to Inspection and Shipping
* Review and update kanban quantities to ensure optimised replenishment schedules
* Develop team to apply standard work towards stock transactions to achieve consistently high stock accuracy
* Conduct occasional cycle counts and follow up with investigations to correct stock inaccuracies
Requirements:
* Previous team leader experience
* Ideally previous experience in a Stores / Material Handling role
* A flexible approach to work requests
* Detail oriented with a structured and organised approach
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to train, mentor and present new ideas
* Computer literate, familiar with ERP systems (AX 2012 or D365)
* Willing to work split shifts to ensure cover with both shifts (8:00 - 4:30pm on 3 days and 9:30 - 6pm on 2 days)
