Mission and Main Objectives:

This role will work within the Management and Logistics team, working in the automotive sector. The main day-to-day tasks vary in range, mainly involving the sourcing, transportation, logistics, warehousing and supply of a wide variety of automotive components, from suppliers to our customers.

Due to small team, the tasks vary in range, from dealing with logistics, customer and supplier liaison to monthly reporting of sales figures.

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, combined with the ability to work to deadlines, will be vital.

Outline and Responsibilities:

· Building relationships with customers, suppliers and third-party logistics businesses.

· Responsible for the provision of a full range of administration and clerical duties to support the effective operation of the SCM team.

· To provide support, and cover the workload of the other administrators when required, carrying out relevant duties to ensure the service of the function are delivered efficiently.

· To be responsible for the effective co-ordination and administration of all visits, meetings, appointments and events ensuring the facilities are adequately resourced.

· Assist with ongoing progress reviews and process improvement activities.

· Basic financial and logistics information recording/reporting

Experience and Qualifications Required:

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Good organisation and time management skills.

· Computer Literate (excel, word, outlook etc.)

· Ability to work part of a team and on own initiative.

· Ability to work under limited supervision and use own initiative, problem solving etc.

· User orientated approach, good problem solving and customer service skills

· Good interpersonal skills, dealing with staff from different functional areas and cultures

· Flexible approach and able to meet deadlines
