Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire
Salary / Benefits £24K - £38K + Training + Benefits
We are recruiting in the South East for a longstanding Water Hygiene / Legionella management outfit, providing services to a range of Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, and Domestic sites. They are now looking to take on a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their longstanding team of assessors. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a continuously growing company who have a professional reputation with their established client base. Our client can offer further training, excellent holiday allowance, company pension scheme and generous basic salary and travel/overtime time rates.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Saffron Walden, Bishop's Stortford, Hertford, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Aylesbury, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Brackley, Stevenage, Cheshunt, St Albans, Chelmsford, Braintree, Clacton-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Brentwood, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, March, Thetford, Diss, Ipswich, Harwich.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company, working hands on as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
" Holding the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment is essential to the role.
" Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 / HTM 0401 guidelines.
" Excellent eye for detail.
" Able to organise workload and schedule time for report writing at home.
" Excellent communication skills.
The Role:
" Working on Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, and Domestic sites, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on both hot and cold-water systems.
" Using industry relevant systems (Visio) to create site specific and accurate schematic drawings.
" Producing detailed legionella reports based on site findings.
" Using information from suite to create site specific legionella management plans, ensuring clients understand actions that need to be implemented to prevent legionnaires disease.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent support and technical advice.
