Electrical Contract Engineer

Salary - £38-42k + £5.5k car allowance

Location – Exeter + adjoining areas

TMX Recruit are currently working with a well-established M&E business that provides mechanical and electrical services throughout the UK. Due to their continuous growth they are now seeking an Electrical Contract Engineer to assist with their commercial refurbishment project in South Devon.

The Electrical Contract Engineer will be based in their Exeter office but will be expected to travel to their South Devon site. The Electrical Contract Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and growing their client base, managing all installation staff and ensuring the project will be delivered within the appropriate timeframe and budget.

Electrical Contract Engineer duties include –

• Managing and developing all installation staff
• Overseeing all commercial aspects of the project
• Maintaining and building their client base
• Monitoring, measuring and reporting all work that has been completed to the clients’ requirements within budget, timeframe etc
• Negotiate with the supply chain as required to enable effective, efficient operations under the guidance of the Directors and National Buyer.
• Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are being carried out.
• Liaise with clients and attend all client meetings.
• Deal with customer complaints, and liaise with customer and clients to a successful conclusion.

Ideal Electrical Contract Engineer Experience –

• Must have an electrical background with the relevant qualifications
• Must have full UK driving license
• Have strong leadership skills
• Be analytical and methodical in your approach to problems
• Be motivated and results driven
