Full Time, Permanent, Support Worker job vacancy Mental Health, Wiltshire.  No experience needed as full training can be provided.

This Service

You would be working at this small Residential Home / Recovery service in Warminster, which supports individuals who are recovering from severe mental health illness and are working towards independent living.  The Adults that you will be supporting do not present with any challenging behaviour, they just need your support with daily living skills such as helping them budget, meal planning, and everyday tasks to help them live independently in their own homes.

Your Purpose

As a Support Worker for someone with Mental Health needs you will form a relationship with the people you support by helping them to regain their confidence and independence.  You will where possible ensure that they engage in as many social activities as possible depending on their own personal interests.

  •  No experience needed as such however transferable / life skills / caring personality.
  • You will be empathetic, nonjudgemental and an excellent listener.
  • You will be someone who will always advocate on behalf of the people you are supporting.
  • You will be passionate about embarking on a career to make a real difference.
  • All applicants will be subject to an enhance DBS & reference checks.
