  • Week 1: 7AM - 1600PM

  • Call out 1 in 5 with £200 pounds standby payment, van, plus 4 hours paid if called out

One of the UK's premier Facilities Management (FM) providers are now looking for a Mechanically minded Maintenance Engineer to join the team responsible for the maintenance service across a newly opened corporate banking Headquarters in Milton Keynes, a short walk from the train station.

The building is a complex, large and critical site, crucial to the banking client's UK operation with a capacity of 2000 - 3000 staff, spanning several floors. It has been designed to high spec with brand new M&E assets, and is a fantastic, modern and impressive site to work on, with impressive plant rooms.

Working by yourself, and with other engineers you will complete a number of mechanically biased tasks, across planned and reactive maintenance, with some electrical and minor fabric jobs too.

Actions will include:

  • Ensure the efficient and timely completion of PPM and reactive tasks across the campus.
  • Carry out fault finding and repairs on a range of M&E and HVAC systems and provide effective solutions.
  • Prioritise scheduling of PPM and reactive work tasks in line with SLA’s whilst ensuring a high-quality service. 
  • Ensure that service levels are being met or exceeded. 
  • Develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the sites engineering systems.  
  • Become familiar with specialist campus control systems such as Siemens, Delmatic and Ventilux and proactively seek learning and development opportunities.
  • Have a proactive approach in regard reporting of issues and updating records to support site compliance.
  • Support the delivery of small works and upgrade projects.
  • Utilise the sites technologies and systems when carrying out duties.
  • Support team members with larger or more complex tasks as and when site conditions require. 
  • Support with overseeing the work of contractors and specialist suppliers including issuing of permits. 

We need from you:

  • Some level of mechanically related engineering qualification
  • Some clear maintenance experience
