Manual Fulfilment Supervisor

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £13 - £14 per hour

We are looking for a Manual Fulfilment Supervisor to work for a manufacturing company based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

As a Manual Fulfilment Supervisor, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in high quality manual hand fulfilment. This would suit someone from a retail background who is looking to change industries.

Job role:

• Manage and instruct employees which components are needed to fulfil works orders.
• Meet client requirements and production needs to the standards set out in the KPI Information Sheet issued.
• Assigns employees to work on specific products to maximize efficiency to the highest standards.
• Determine most efficient way to carry out the work, formulate plans to maximize storage.
• Review KPI paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Comply with Health & Safety practices at all times.
• Confer with other supervisors/managers to coordinate activities of other departments.
• Ensure work areas are clean and free from safety hazards.
• Responsible for ensuring Company and Agency employees are trained and understand all work and policies.
• To perform other duties/responsibilities which may be assigned to this position at the managers discretion.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday   
• 40 hours pw; flexibility required commensurate with role

Skills required:

• 3 to 5 years previous supervisory experience in a production and/or warehouse environment OR Manager in retail
• Forklift license (useful but not essential).
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required.
