MIG TIG Welder - Aluminium

Our strategic partner is a specialist in the precision fabrication to a variety of industries including but not limited to Defence. Nuclear and Subsea. Due to increased work load they are looking to recruit a skilled MIG/ TIG Welder to join their team in Oldham on a 6 Month Contract.
Suitable candidates will be time served with demonstrable experience in MIG /TIG Welding a range of materials mainly Aluminium plate from 1mm - 100mm.
Given the nature of the work, candidates will ideally have been coded in the past.
Hours of work Monday – Friday 0730- 1530 Friday
Role Description
- Experience in welding on a range of materials (Mild Steel/ Stainless) from 1mm - 100mm
- Demonstrate strong problem solving skills
- Carry out work in safe conditions including manual handling
- MIG/ TIG Welding
Experience and Qualifications
- Time served Engineer
- Experience of working within a precision manufacturing environment
- Experience of working with a range of materials and thicknesses
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Comfortable reading engineering drawings
