ELECTRO - MECHANICAL SERVICE ENGINEER

KAP Technical are working with a cleint, located in Milton Keynes, supplies a wide range of packaging machinery to the corrugated industry, including casemakers, printer slotters, folding/stitching/gluing machines, strappers, digital printers, digital cutting tables, and die-cutting equipment.

We are seeking an individual, preferably with experience in the corrugated industry, to join our engineering and electrical team. The primary role involves the installation, commissioning, and/or removal of both new and used packaging machinery at customer sites. This position requires national and international travel, sometimes at short notice, and occasionally includes weekends, so flexibility is essential. Additionally, They provide customers with breakdown and machinery service plans, conducted between installations. The role also involves the electrical refurbishment of used equipment at our Milton Keynes factory.

Essential skills for this position include:

• Control panel building, wiring, and testing
• HMI and PLC programming
• Solid engineering and mechanical skills

While a forklift license and a working-at-height license are advantageous, they are not required as training can be provided after employment begins.

• Hourly pay based on a 37.5-hour workweek (08:00 – 16:00, with a 15-minute tea break and a 45-minute lunch break)
