White Label Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and experienced Piping Designer to join fast growing and dynamic team in the Chester Area. I have recently visited a lovely client site and I am now looking to recruit a Piping Design Engineer for them. If you have experience in piping design, with a strong background in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, and Power Projects, we want to hear from you. Your passion, technical prowess, and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Due to business growth and contract orders multiplying rapidly in the next 12months, they have a need to expand their team of skilled and experienced Piping Designers. This means the opportunity to grow and develop is limitless.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Producing and coordinating 3D piping designs, plant layouts, isometrics, and pipe support drawings.
  • Leading small teams and providing administrative oversight of assigned piping personnel.
  • Providing piping design and drafting services for piping systems.
  • Utilising Autodesk Plant 3D for accurate 3D modelling.
  • Maintaining CAD and equipment files.
  • Completing site survey activities to gather information.
  • Ensuring all drafting and design requirements are met.
  • Promoting quality control and participating in regular quality audits.
  • Reviewing vendor data for a wide range of piping equipment.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Piping Design Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Recap, Navisworks, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with 3D design using Plant 3D and Navisworks.
  • Strong knowledge of Industry Piping Codes and materials commonly used.
  • Background in piping layouts and design procedures.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical Industry.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £50k PA
  • Working Hours: 40 hours (flexitime from 7 am to 6 pm)
  • Holiday: 28 days including 8 days of Bank Holidays, increasing with service.
  • Overtime: Paid at an hourly rate equivalent and can be exchanged for time off.
  • Travel: Hotel and food expenses paid, mileage at £0.45 per mile.

  • Sick Pay: Contractual Sick Pay at the normal rate of pay.
  • Pension: Company pension scheme with contributions - Employee pay 5%, Employer 3%.
