Commercial Litigator - Permanent

Bedford -  £43000 - £49000

Mon - Fri 37.5 hour week

They have an experienced litigation team that handles all kinds of disputes. They act on behalf of large corporations, owner-managed businesses, public bodies, insurers, regulatory bodies, and private individuals. They deal with complex, high-profile, and sensitive issues across a broad range of litigation with far-reaching implications. 

The Commercial Litigator Solicitor's Responsibilities are:

• The Commercial Litigation team undertakes a broad range of substantial, challenging work, largely of a contentious nature. You will be required to support the lead partners and senior fee earners in various commercial litigation disputes, independently where appropriate.
• Achieve set financial and chargeable targets KPIs.
• Ensure case management records are maintained.
• Take an active role in business development initiatives including training and networking.
• Assist other lawyers on the team with their work as required including supporting lead advisors and supervising junior lawyers.
• Train, supervise, and develop junior team members.
• Produce monthly and ad-hoc client MI reports.

Quals/Experience

• A qualified solicitor with over 3 years PQE
• Experience in handling a broad mix of commercial litigation disputes.
• Experience in managing your caseload with limited supervision.
• Passionate about operational excellence generating work opportunities.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
