I am working with a leading Landscape Contractor who is looking for someone keen to get stuck into their large land bank of projects.

Our client is looking for a driven professional to come on board to rise to the challenge of their projects, who has proven experience as in a fast paced environment in a strong commercial team. You will be someone who has the right personality and attitude to communicate and work alongside their close-knit team and manage their work load proactively.

Join a reputable contractor, focusing on all of the landscape packages known for delivering prestigious and high-quality large scale residential projects. All projects are based in area such as, Battersea and East London but you will predominantly be based in the head office.

Key responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

• High-value and complex contract disputes
• Responsible for the commercial team consisting of 1 assistant commercial manager, 1 commercial manager and themselves
• Presenting accurate monthly valuations to clients on time
• Assessing subcontractor valuations
• Pricing and negotiating variations
• Preparing and submitting final accounts
• Procuring downstream subcontracts
• Negotiating upstream contracts post-tender

Benefits:

• Salary up to £95,000 DOE
• 20 days holiday + paid Christmas shutdown annually + bank holidays

Successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum of 10 years in a commercial team working on high-end projects
• Extensive experience on projects of similar scope and value within main contractors or specialist landscaping contractor
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

• Significant experience and proven ability to deal with high-value and complex contract disputes
• Extensive experience managing a team, minimum 2 people
