Groomfield Recruitment are looking for TIG [Stainless Steel] Welders for their client based in Brownhills, Walsall.

Hours of Work:

- 07:15 - 16:00 Monday To Thursday.

- 07:15 - 14:15 Friday.

-- Overtime available.

Pay:

- Starting at £13.00 to £13.50 Per Hour [Depending on experience]

- Pay review after temp to perm assignment has been completed

Duties:

- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel

- Perform TIG welding - Sheeted metal

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements

- Set up and operate welding equipment, including TIG welders, and power tools

- Clean and prepare surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, grease, and other contaminants

- Assemble and fabricate metal components using welding techniques

- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

- Minimum 1 years of experience in TIG welding is essential

- Ability to TIG weld - Stainless steel is essential

- Physically able

- Proficient in assembling, fabricating, and welding sheet metal components

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles and techniques

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in welding processes
