About the Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Social Value Coordinator. The successful candidate will be crucial in ensuring that our client meets and exceeds its social value targets, engaging with various stakeholders and communities.

In this role, you will support our business units to implement and report on social value initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Social Value Manager.
  • Engage and organise social value events with stakeholders, communities, and related organisations.
  • Work with all business units to ensure compliance and achievement of social value targets and unique projects.
  • Develop, deliver, and implement project-specific social value plans in coordination with internal teams, clients, and supply chains.
  • Record, monitor, and update social value and environmental data monthly, presenting it to the business units and senior management using various databases and systems.
  • Maintain and update the social value activities tracker monthly.
  • Produce outcome-based reports and case studies in collaboration with the business units.
  • Assist in researching and reporting on Local Needs Analysis to inform social value offerings in bids and proposals.
  • Coordinate and administer all social value activities across the business units.
  • Plan, execute, support, and participate in social value activities in various settings such as schools, job centres, and community organisations.
  • Assist with internal and external marketing and communication programs related to social value.
  • Support operational teams with social value questions in bids and client proposals.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

  • Empathy and understanding of social challenges.
  • Experience in planning, organising, and coordinating events.
  • Efficient organisational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines.

  • Effective communication, management, and motivational skills.
